Day 1 – Thursday 2nd May 2013
Here’s the start of the 2013 IJ Blog. We left the Isle of Man at 3.00pm on the Seacat bound for Liverpool. The 1st technical hitch was as we pulled out of the gates of our driveway, when the Mini promptly instantly died on us as we were being waved off by the family – only checking!!! Ian had switched the fuel pump off by mistake – oops! Problem soon resolved and we were off! Mirror-like Irish Sea meant we arrived in Liverpool in really good time, short drive to Geoff and Carole Buckle’s where we stayed for the night, after a lovely meal, thank you both. A relatively early night ready for a drive to Dover tomorrow and the ferry to Calais.
